Under an hour????

Well, this morning I tried to do my 10k (approx) run in under an hour and worked very, very hard but I don't think I quite made it.

I'm not too disheartened though and come the race I still think I might make it...

I'm counting on 2 things - one that there are more uphills in my run than there will be on the day and also that it's slightly further than 10k.

But against that, the race will be jammed at the start which means a slower getaway. Like I'm such a professional athlete I need to worry about these things...

Hey ho, there's nothing riding on this at all, it's just an incentive to keep me out there and running. But I'm very achy this morning - nothing specific, just thighs and bum really. And ankles a bit. It's the burden of all the extra weight I'm carrying... Hopefully not for much longer - if I keep this up. And it's not definite I will as I have very little determination when things like achy legs comes round.

Not that my legs are coming runnd, they haven't been unconscious.
