Early Morning

Well this morning I did something I haven't done for a while, namely going for a run before work. It helps when it's already light at 530 and you've been woken up by the cat hawking up furballs in the bedroom: I put out a copy of The Economist for him to aim for but he didn't seem to produce anything.
Too much information??

Anyway, there I was out with quite a few other runners and lots of slightly dazed looking people at bus stops, and I actually quite enjoyed it. Well, not enjoyed it exactly, but it hurt far less than I was expecting and I didn't even feel too knackered either. Perhaps the endorphins are kicking in.

So I was going to cut myself some slack and just go for the short route, then I thought, 'No. I'm going to do the Waitrose route' then as eveything seemed to be working ok I went for the full 'round the tower' experience. And went 6.23 miles.

Which is 10k

Which is what I will be running, with an audience, 2 weeks on Sunday.

I rule.
