I'm a bit surprised how quickly it's come round, frankly, but I'm ready - I've been running 10k regularly which is ok; it's reassuring to know I can do it.
But I watched the London Marathon yesterday and felt really inspired - to enter the 1/2 marathon again. It's done, paid for and so on. All I have to do now is the training and a fair amount of weight loss and I'll be there.
Will I do it in under 2 hours? I think I could have when I did it last time, but whether that means I can do it this time is debatable. I'm aiming to finish, to lose weight and to get round in under 2hours 15 (But ideally I would like to get under my previous time of 2h 5m 25s - and to get under 2 hours would be amazing)
What have I let myself in for??
A new pair of shoes at the very least!!!
